Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Safety, Health and Environmental Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team at our Willand site. Reporting directly to the Site Director, this is a highly autonomous role with responsibility for leading and delivering the site's Safety, Health and Environmental strategy.
You will lead a team of two SHE Advisors and oversee the Security function, partnering with stakeholders across the business to deliver a safe, compliant, and sustainable working environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of the site SHE strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Create and maintain a safe workplace without risk to health for all employees, contractors, and visitors
- Drive a positive safety culture across the site through coaching, engagement, and visible leadership
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation, company policies, and industry best practice
- Provide expert SHE guidance to operational teams and senior stakeholders
About You
We are looking for an experienced SHE professional with extensive experience operating within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be an engaging leader with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive a culture where safety, health, and environmental standards are embedded into everyday operations.
You will have a strong track record of delivering measurable improvements in SHE performance and be comfortable operating as a key member of a senior leadership team.
Key Skills and Qualifications

- NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience within a SHE leadership position in Food Manufacturing, FMCG, or a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrable environmental management experience
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing and developing teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels
- Proven record of delivering SHE improvements and driving positive cultural change
- Experience operating within a large, complex manufacturing site
