Location: Marden, Kent

Salary: GBP28,000 to GBP38,000 plus bonus and overtime

Hours: Monday to Friday 0800 to 1700, Permanent

Are you an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator looking for your next opportunity? We're seeking a skilled individual to join a busy and well-established manufacturing business, producing high-quality precision components for a wide range of customers.

Working within a modern, fully equipped manufacturing environment, you'll be part of a supportive team where quality, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement are valued.

The Role

As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you'll be responsible for producing precision sheet metal components to exact specifications. Your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Bending, forming, fabricating, and finishing sheet metal components.
  • Manufacturing parts to customer specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Deburring, drilling, and assembling fabricated components.
  • Carrying out spot welding on bespoke products when required.
  • Ensuring all work meets high-quality standards and production deadlines.
  • Working safely and maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience working with fine limit sheet metal.
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and assembly processes.
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Experience with deburring, drilling, and spot welding.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • A keen eye for detail and pride in producing high-quality work.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with any of the following would be an advantage:
    • LVD CNC Press Brake
    • Power-assisted rollers
    • Power guillotines
    • TIG welding
