Role Description
The Sheet Metal Worker is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Kingdom, focused on aircraft structures and components. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Fabricating, repairing, and modifying sheet metal parts, panels, and assemblies according to technical drawings, specifications, and maintenance manuals.
- Measuring, cutting, forming, drilling, and fastening metal materials using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment, while ensuring proper fit, alignment, and structural integrity.
- Inspecting existing structures for damage or corrosion.
- Performing repairs using approved techniques.
- Documenting work performed in line with aviation standards and company procedures.
- Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and quality personnel to maintain safety, compliance, and timely completion of maintenance and modification tasks.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in sheet metal fabrication, repair, and assembly for aircraft or similar structures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and metalworking equipment (e.g., shears, brakes, rivet guns, drills).
- Knowledge of aviation maintenance standards, materials, fastening methods, and corrosion prevention practices.
- Attention to detail, quality-focused workmanship, and adherence to safety procedures and regulations.
- Relevant vocational training, apprenticeship, or certification in aircraft structures, sheet metal work, or a related trade.
- Experience working in an aviation maintenance, MRO, or industrial environment is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, follow instructions accurately, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity, with the ability to work in confined spaces or at heights when required.
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to comply with any necessary security or background checks.
