Inovad supports customers with design services using the latest Solidworks CAD software, enabling efficient, cost-effective manufacturing solutions. Certified professional Solidworks users on the design team help simplify complex designs to reduce production time and cost.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sheet Metal Worker Mig/Tig welder fabricator role based in Havant. The role involves fabricating sheet metal components using MIG and TIG welding techniques, interpreting engineering drawings, and using hand tools and workshop equipment to produce high-quality, precise parts.

Day-to-day tasks include:

- Cutting, forming, and assembling metalwork
- Checking measurements
- Ensuring that finished products meet technical specifications and quality standards
The Sheet Metal Worker will collaborate with the fabrication and design teams, support the build and installation of custom projects, and adhere to all safety procedures and company policies. The role may also include occasional on-site installation work at customer locations as required.
Qualifications
- Strong Sheet Metal and Metalworking skills, including cutting, forming, and fabricating components to fine tolerances.
- Welding skills, with proven experience in MIG and TIG processes for a variety of materials and thicknesses.
- Proficiency with Hand Tools and workshop equipment commonly used in fabrication and assembly.
- Experience working with Aircraft or other high-precision, safety-critical metal structures (or similar industries) is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD-generated designs.
- Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and commitment to safe working practices.
- Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in welding, fabrication, or sheet metal work is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment and ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
