Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sheet Metal Worker role based in Greater Manchester. The Sheet Metal Worker will fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components used in magnetic separators, rails, and related products, following technical drawings and specifications. Daily tasks include cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal, operating hand and power tools, and performing basic welding and finishing operations to meet quality standards. The role involves working closely with engineers and production staff to ensure accurate, safe, and timely completion of orders, including bespoke customer projects. The Sheet Metal Worker will also inspect finished parts, maintain equipment, follow health and safety procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement within the workshop.

Qualifications
- Strong sheet metal fabrication skills, including experience working with Sheet Metal and general Metalworking techniques.
- Proficiency in using Hand Tools and workshop equipment safely and accurately.
- Basic to intermediate Welding skills suitable for fabrication and repair work.
- Experience in metalwork for specialized applications (e.g., Aircraft or precision-engineered products) is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and ability to meet production deadlines.
- Previous experience in metal fabrication, mechanical engineering, or a related trade; relevant vocational training or apprenticeship is an advantage.
