This is a full time (35 hours per week), permanent role with a starting salary of £32,000. It is subject to an enhanced DBS Check and you must hold a full, clean driving licence.
Become part of our small, friendly housing team at GCT and lead our housing service for older people across our four housing schemes all located in Gloucester GL1.
We are looking for a Sheltered Housing Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our housing services, ensuring an excellent experience for residents and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Our ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of the regulated housing sector and previous experience of supported housing/extra care settings would also be an advantage. However, your approach is just as important as your experience – we need talented people who can work with others and who want to make a difference.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
