Trainee SHEQ Advisor
Location: Essex, Kent & Surrey
Position: Trainee / Entry Level
Sector: Construction
We are currently recruiting for a Trainee SHEQ Advisor to support construction projects across Essex, Kent and Surrey.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in Health & Safety / SHEQ and gain practical, hands-on experience within a busy construction environment.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced SHEQ and site teams, receiving support and guidance while developing their knowledge of health, safety, environmental and quality procedures across live construction sites.

- Assist with SHEQ activities across multiple construction sites
- Support site inspections, safety observations and close-out actions
- Assist with incident and near-miss investigations
- Support RAMS reviews and compliance checks
- Maintain SHEQ documentation and site records
- Work closely with site teams to promote safe working practices
- Support the implementation of company health & safety procedures
- Develop knowledge and experience of construction SHEQ requirements
About You
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about developing a career within Health & Safety and the construction industry.
Ideally, you will:
- Have completed or be working towards a NEBOSH qualification
- Have a genuine interest in Health & Safety and construction
- Be willing to learn and develop within a site-based environment
- Have good communication and organisational skills
- Be comfortable working with different site teams
- Be able to travel between projects across Essex, Kent and Surrey
- Previous SHEQ experience is not essential, as this is a trainee-level opportunity.
