Sureserve SHEQ Coordinator Opportunity
Sureserve is one of the UK's leading providers of energy and compliance services, delivering essential work to customers and communities nationwide. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced SHEQ Coordinator to join our team in Bathgate.
This is a great opportunity for you if you have health and safety administration experience and want to play a key role in supporting our SHEQ function. You'll work closely with the Head of SHEQ, helping to maintain compliance, coordinate training, track actions, and support a positive safety culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Health & Safety Management System records, folders and action trackers, ensuring outstanding actions are monitored and followed up.
- Collate incident, near miss and trend data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Update and distribute Health & Safety policies, procedures and local arrangements.
- Administer Health & Safety alerts, coordinating responses and reporting outcomes within agreed timescales.
- Manage SHEQ training records, including course bookings, updates and certification records.
- Attend Health & Safety meetings and provide accurate meeting minutes and action logs.
- Monitor risk assessment and action completion deadlines, escalating overdue items where necessary.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider SHEQ function as required.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Health & Safety, SHEQ or compliance coordination/admin role.
- Experience within housing, social housing, construction, engineering or a similar operational environment would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety principles and legislation.
- IOSH qualification would be beneficial.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach, attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

- Salary: £28,000 to £32,000
