SHEQ Manager
Leicester | Hybrid | Travel Across the UK
Max Energy is a growing insulation and renewable energy business, working with some of the UK's leading housebuilders and property partners. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced SHEQ Manager to lead our safety, health, environmental and quality strategy across the business.

What you'll be doing:
- Lead and develop our SHEQ strategy as the business grows.
- Ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation and environmental standards.
- Act as the competent health and safety lead across our insulation and solar operations.
- Develop and maintain SHEQ policies, procedures and management systems.
- Carry out site audits, inspections and risk assessments across the UK.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring lessons are learned and improvements are made.
- Support operational teams with practical advice on safe working and quality standards.
- Deliver SHEQ training and coaching to managers and field teams.
- Report on SHEQ performance and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
- Champion a proactive safety culture where everyone takes ownership.

What we're looking for:

- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential).
- Experience in a SHEQ leadership role within construction, energy or a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
- Experience in renewable energy, solar PV or insulation/retrofit programmes is highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
