£45,000 - £55,000 + Company Vehicle/Car Allowance + Training + Pension + 33 Days Annual Leave

This role would suit a SHEQ Manager or a site supervisor/foreman/manager looking to progress into a SHEQ Manager with experience in roofing, cladding, facades or construction, knowledge of health & safety legislation, and a passion for continuous improvement who is looking to progress into a management-focused position.

In this role, the successful candidate will lead SHEQ strategy across the business, carry out site inspections and audits, investigate incidents and non-conformances, support risk assessments and safe systems of work, and work closely with clients, auditors, regulators, and site teams to ensure consistently high standards.
The Role
- Leading and developing SHEQ strategy, policies and procedures across the business
- Ensuring compliance with CDM 2015, HSE requirements, British Standards, Building Regulations, PAS 9980 and BS 8414
- Investigating incidents, near misses and non-conformances while implementing corrective actions
- Delivering toolbox talks, SHEQ briefings and coaching to site teams and subcontractors
- Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm with no weekend working
The Person
- SHEQ Manager, site manager/supervisor/foreman or similar background
- Experience within roofing, cladding, facades, construction or building envelope sectors
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and construction compliance
- SMSTS, NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent qualifications (Preferred/can be trained)
