Sheriff Office Records Technician
The Sheriff’s Office Records Technician performs clerical, records management, financial, and administrative duties supporting local law enforcement agencies and the County detention facility. The position prepares, processes, maintains, redacts, releases, distributes, and retains criminal and non-criminal records; processes civil, court, jail, bond, and concealed handgun permit documentation; enters and retrieves information from law enforcement databases; responds to records requests; and collects fees and prepares deposits. The position requires accuracy, confidentiality, sound judgment, and professional interaction with law enforcement personnel, courts, other agencies, and members of the public. Records personnel work Monday - Thursday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm.

This is a full time, non-exempt position, with an hourly wage of $24.14 to $29.57, DOQ. Benefits include medical, prescription, dental, vision, life, disability, flexible spending account (FSA) options, HDHP health savings account with employer contribution, paid sick and vacation leave, holidays, birthday holiday, EAP, retirement plan with County contribution, and wellness program incentives.
