Main Responsibilities

  • Support the Sub Agent and Shift Manager in setting up and undertaking the NT related works.
  • Ensure the works are conducted in accordance with the project requirements including health and safety, where this is not observed reporting the non-conformance to the section engineer or supervisor.
  • Ensure all setting-out and quality control procedures are performed in a timely and efficient manner, so as not to impede the construction programme.
  • Be conversant with all drawings, specifications and related information for the works, asking for advice when unsure.
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with the Client and within the team, promoting an aim to exceed Client expectations.
  • Understand the Client and Joint Venture Partners' Environment and Sustainability Policies, Processes and statutory requirements as they affect the company's operations and ensure that the requirements, as applicable within their discipline, are implemented on the project.

  • Engineering Degree/Higher National Certificate (HNC) or similar in a construction discipline.
  • 2+ years’ experience within the Civil Construction Industry.
  • Relevant CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
  • Survey / Setting Out experience.
  • Engineering Degree/Higher National Certificate (HNC) or similar in Tunnelling, Mining, Geotechnical Engineering.
  • 2+ years’ experience with SCL or tunnel construction techniques.
  • IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) or SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme).
  • Tunnel Safety Training Scheme (TSTS)
