Join our snack-loving team

We’re looking for a Progressive Maintenance Shift Engineer to join us at KP Snacks. If you’re ready to bring your ideas to the table, grow your skills and be part of a team that values what makes you, you – this could be your next big move.

Who are we?

We’re KP Snacks, part of the Intersnack family. Across more than 30 countries, over 15,000 of us work together to make the snacks people love – from Hula Hoops to McCoy’s. In the UK, we’re a team of around 2,400 colleagues, based across seven sites and our Slough HQ. We’re proud of our close-knit culture, where we speak up, celebrate differences and push boundaries together.

About the role

As a Shift Engineer, you'll play a vital role in keeping our production lines running safely, efficiently and reliably. Working closely with Operations and Engineering teams, you'll use your technical expertise to reduce downtime, improve equipment performance and drive Continuous Improvement across your designated area.

You'll take ownership of both planned and reactive maintenance activities, using lean manufacturing tools and root cause analysis techniques to identify issues and implement sustainable solutions. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert in Intersnack Working Systems (IWS) and Progressive Maintenance (PM), you'll also coach and develop Equipment Owners, helping to build engineering capability across the site.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
