Shift Lead Engineer

Location: Central London

Hours: 12 hours shifts, 4 on 4 off (7am-7pm/7pm-7am)

About The Role

We are looking for a Shift Lead Engineer to provide technical leadership within a retail environment. As the senior engineer on shift, you'll coordinate maintenance activities and support the safe, reliable operation of site infrastructure.

You'll be supporting customer-facing retail environments where presentation, service continuity and customer experience are key priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering activities during shift operations
  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works
  • Support fault diagnosis and incident management
  • Monitor compliance with site procedures
  • Review permits and maintenance documentation
  • Provide technical support and guidance

What We're Looking For

  • Fully electrical qualifications – NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience
  • Strong engineering maintenance background
  • Knowledge of critical infrastructure or building services systems
  • Able to participate in an on-call rota
