Role Description
The Shift Leader role is a full-time remote position responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring productivity targets are met on assigned shifts. This role coordinates team tasks, monitors workflow, and supports team members in meeting quality, safety, and delivery standards. The Shift Leader tracks performance metrics, resolves operational issues, and communicates updates to management and other departments. Day-to-day activities include:

The role also involves collaborating across teams to ensure smooth handovers between shifts and consistent adherence to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills, including experience supervising or leading shift-based or operational teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a remote setting.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, for guiding team members and reporting to management.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, including experience identifying issues, proposing solutions, and implementing process improvements.
- Comfort with digital tools and basic computer literacy, including use of remote collaboration platforms, scheduling software, and reporting systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, logistics, or operations environments is beneficial; previous experience in kitchen manufacturing or B2B supply is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, maintain accountability in a remote role, and foster an inclusive, respectful team culture.
- Relevant vocational training or education in operations, management, or a related field is advantageous, though equivalent experience will be considered.
