Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic Warehousing & Logistics Shift Manager to join our Operations team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead daily shift operations that directly safeguard our customers' most vital physical assets. You will empower your team to maintain exceptional quality standards while optimising shift productivity and driving continuous operational improvements. By balancing hands-on leadership with strategic resource planning, your everyday guidance ensures our operational engine runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

  • Lead shift operations: Oversee daily warehouse processes including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to meet service levels.
  • Develop operational teams: Coach, mentor, and build an engaged, high-performing workforce focused on safety and quality.
  • Manage resources and performance: Plan daily staffing, track key operational KPIs, and manage shift costs to meet demand.
  • Maintain safety and compliance: Conduct workplace inspections and ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and security protocols.
  • Drive operational efficiency: Resolve daily process bottlenecks and implement practical continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Several years of experience in shift management or supervision within a fast-paced 3PL warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), workforce planning, and operational KPI tracking.
  • Proven team leadership skills with a track record of coaching employees and building strong team engagement.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities to resolve operational challenges under pressure.
