Shift Manager
Location: The Pizza Factory, Nottingham
Working Hours:
- Week 1: 6AM-6PM
- Week 2: Wednesday to Saturday, Thursday to Saturday
Salary: Highly Competitive + Excellent Numeration and Benefits Package

About the Role
As Shift Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operation of B Shift across our Pizza Toppings site, leading a team of 6 Front Line Managers who oversee key production and logistics functions.
You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence while continuing to build a positive, engaged, and high-performing culture. This position requires a leader who can balance people development with operational delivery, ensuring teams are motivated, supported, and consistently achieving results.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 6 Front Line Managers, providing coaching, support, and direction.
- Drive a strong culture of engagement, accountability, and teamwork across the shift.
- Ensure operational targets relating to safety, quality, output, and efficiency are achieved.
- Champion health and safety as a core part of daily operations, embedding best practice throughout the team.
- Monitor performance data, identify trends, investigate root causes, and implement effective improvement plans.
- Lead problem-solving activities and drive sustainable solutions to operational challenges.
About You
We're looking for an experienced production leader who values people as much as performance. You will have a proven track record of managing teams within a manufacturing, FMCG, or food production environment and understand how to create a culture where individuals and teams can thrive. You'll be naturally curious, challenge existing processes, and use data to drive meaningful improvements.

- Experience in a Shift Manager or similar leadership role within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong people management, coaching, and development skills.
- Proven ability to lead through engagement and influence.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience managing operational performance against key metrics.
