Department: Blowmoulding Operations
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Day and Nights 7 -7)

Are you an experienced operations professional with a passion for leading teams and delivering results?
We're looking for a Shift Leader to join our fast-paced distribution operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious leader who thrives in a challenging environment and enjoys motivating teams to deliver outstanding customer service, operational excellence, and high safety standards. The role involves leading operational teams, supporting warehouse and transport activities, managing day-to-day issues, and ensuring the smooth running of the operation throughout your shift.
What you'll be doing
As a Shift Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring our operation runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting operational teams across the depot.
- Ensuring vehicles are loaded and dispatched safely, accurately, and on time.
- Supporting warehouse and transport functions to maintain service levels.
- Managing operational challenges and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting attendance, rota management, and resource planning.
- Championing Health & Safety and promoting a strong safety culture.
- Delivering excellent customer service through effective operational management.
- Coaching and developing colleagues to achieve high performance.

What we're looking for
We're interested in hearing from candidates who have:
- Previous experience in a transport, warehouse, logistics, or FMCG environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- The ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, time-critical operation.
- Experience managing performance, attendance, and operational priorities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and service.
