Join our snack-loving team
We’re looking for a Shift Manager to join us at KP Snacks. If you’re ready to bring your ideas to the table, grow your skills and be part of a team that values what makes you, you – this could be your next big move.
Who are we?
We’re KP Snacks, part of the Intersnack family. Across more than 30 countries, over 15,000 of us work together to make the snacks people love – from Hula Hoops to McCoy’s. In the UK, we’re a team of around 2,400 colleagues, based across seven sites and our Slough HQ. We’re proud of our close-knit culture, where we speak up, celebrate differences and push boundaries together.
About the Role
We're looking for a Shift Manager to lead our production operation and deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality performance across their shift. You'll be accountable for people, plant, product, and process performance, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and hygiene.
Acting as the first point of contact across the Site during your shift, you'll lead and develop colleagues, drive continuous improvement activities, and minimise downtime through effective problem-solving and root cause analysis. Working within our Intersnack Working System (IWS) framework, you'll use lean manufacturing tools and Daily Management Systems to eliminate waste, improve performance, and support operational excellence.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys developing people, driving change, and delivering results.
What’s in it for you?

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
