About the Company

My client is a leading global premium drinks business, with a portfolio of some of the world’s most recognised beverage brands.

About the Role

They are currently looking for an experienced Bottling Team Lead/ Shift Manager to join their operation on a temporary assignment. This role is responsible for the supervision and day-to-day running of the bottling lines on a shift-based 12-hour pattern (7:00–19:00 / 19:00–7:00). The role requires an experienced people leader who can manage multiple priorities across bottling lines and a large physical production area. There is a high degree of in-the-moment decision-making under pressure, with decisions directly impacting safety, quality, production and cost. You will be directly responsible for the overall performance of the shift and the effective running of the bottling lines, including the supervision and coordination of approximately 6–8 operators. The successful candidate will have previous experience managing and developing teams in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience within a bottling or FMCG environment would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day operation of the bottling lines, ensuring production requirements are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead and coordinate the shift team, ensuring appropriate staffing, skills and resources are available to meet production requirements.
  • Provide effective leadership, direction, coaching and support to operators and mechanics.
  • Ensure the shift delivers against key Safety, Quality, Production, Cost and Supply Excellence targets.
  • Make timely decisions and respond effectively to operational issues, breakdowns, quality concerns and changes to the production plan.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Planning and other support functions to minimise disruption and maintain production performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement and employee engagement by empowering team members to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Optimise line efficiency and throughput while minimising waste and downtime.
  • Ensure all relevant company policies, procedures and manufacturing standards are consistently followed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
