Rotating Days and Nights

A leading manufacturer in Gloucester is looking for a Shift Production Manager to lead production teams, drive performance, and ensure safety, quality, and delivery targets are achieved. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business investing heavily in its people and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop production teams across shifts
  • Drive performance against safety, quality, and production KPIs
  • Ensure production plans and customer demands are met
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor efficiency, labour utilisation, and costs
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
  • Investigate production issues and implement solutions
  • Maintain compliance with Health and Safety standards

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a Production, Shift, Manufacturing, or Operations Management role
  • Strong leadership skills within a manufacturing environment
  • Continuous improvement experience
  • KPI-driven with a focus on operational performance
  • Strong communication and people management skills
  • Backgrounds in FMCG, Food, Packaging, Automotive, Chemical, or Manufacturing are desirable
