About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and safety-focused Shift Supervisor to join our operations team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising daily operational activities, ensuring safe working practices, and delivering efficient performance across the shift.
You will lead and support operational teams, coordinate workloads, maintain high safety standards, and ensure operational targets are achieved while promoting a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operational activities.
- Lead, motivate and develop operational employees on shift.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet operational requirements.
- Monitor performance and productivity, addressing issues as they arise.
- Complete operational reports and maintain accurate records.
- Support training, coaching and competency development of team members.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operational delivery.
- Act as a key point of contact during shifts and respond to operational challenges.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous supervisory experience within an operational, logistics, manufacturing, port, marine or industrial environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- A commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- The ability to make decisions under pressure and prioritise workloads effectively.
- Experience coordinating teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Competent IT and administrative skills.
Shift Pattern
5 on, 3 off (8-day rotation) | Available to work up to 12-hour shifts
