Lead and develop a high-performing production team.
Role Overview
Take ownership of a production area and play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while developing and supporting your team to succeed.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Team Leader, Production Supervisor, or Front-Line Manager looking to make a visible impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for leading day-to-day performance, building team capability, and driving continuous improvement, ensuring production, quality, and safety standards are achieved consistently.
Working closely with HR, Training, and wider site teams, you'll help create a positive workplace culture while supporting the ongoing development and engagement of your team.
Key Duties
- Lead, coach, and develop your team to achieve production, yield, quality, and safety targets.
- Manage attendance, performance, conduct, and employee relations matters in line with company policies.
- Support onboarding activities and deliver training plans to build team capability.
- Promote Sofina's values of Integrity, Respect, and Accountability across your area.
- Drive employee engagement and support recognition initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs, labor costs, and throughput, identifying opportunities to improve performance.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure the area remains audit-ready and consistently meets food safety, quality, hygiene, and health and safety standards.

Ideal Candidate
- An experienced people leader within a production, food manufacturing, or FMCG environment.
- Qualified to Level 3 Food Hygiene and HACCP Level 3 standard, or equivalent.
- Experienced working to BRC standards and maintaining audit readiness.
- A confident communicator with strong people management skills.
- Comfortable making decisions, influencing others, and driving accountability.
- Proactive in identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.
- Passionate about developing, coaching, and supporting colleagues.
- Organized, with good IT skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experienced within a chilled food manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
