Shift Supervisor – Manufacturing Mirfield, West Yorkshire | £27,500–£28,500 | Monday–Friday, 06:15–14:15

Aqumen Recruitment is working on behalf of our client, a successful manufacturing business in Mirfield, to recruit an ambitious Shift Supervisor.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Team Leader, Senior Operator, or Manufacturing Supervisor looking to develop their leadership skills and progress towards a Shift Manager role.
The Role
Working alongside the Shift Manager, you will help lead the manufacturing team and ensure production targets, quality, and safety standards are achieved.

You'll be responsible for:
- Leading and supporting production teams.
- Coordinating people, resources, and workflow.
- Monitoring production performance and resolving issues.
- Supporting training, coaching, and team development.
- Promoting excellent health & safety and quality standards.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Taking increasing ownership of shift operations.
- Providing Shift Manager cover when required.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in a manufacturing/production environment.
- A confident and supportive leader.
- A strong problem solver with a hands-on approach.
- Technically minded and keen to learn.
- Comfortable challenging poor standards or unsafe practices.
- Ambitious and keen to progress into Shift Management.
