Working Hours: 36.5
Working hours/shift pattern: 12 hrs shift, 6 am - 6 pm and 6 pm - 6 am, Days and Nights, 4-Week Shift Pattern

About the Role:
As a Shift Team Leader at our Leeds facility, you will be responsible for leading manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, quality, and performance excellence. This pivotal role requires exceptional leadership skills to inspire and develop teams while ensuring customer satisfaction and company compliance in a safe environment. You will be the driving force behind operational excellence, promoting professional behaviours and embodying Carlsberg Britvic Growth Culture Principals.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate and develop a production team of approximately 10–15 employees.
- Demonstrate strong safety leadership, ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental and PPE standards are consistently met.
- Ensure Quality and GMP standards are maintained, promoting a Right First Time approach.
- Plan and coordinate resources to deliver the production plan and achieve key operational KPIs, including OEE, reliability, yield and waste.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, promoting a “see it, own it, solve it” approach and supporting Continuous Improvement.
- Manage team performance, attendance, training and development, including regular 1:1s and clear objectives.
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality and other support teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste, manage costs and improve operational efficiency.

Experience and Key Attributes:
- Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety, Quality and Operational Excellence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues in a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience in performance management, including setting objectives, conducting appraisals and developing talent.
- Ability to work a 12-hour, 24/6 annualised shift pattern as required by the business.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and development, both personally and across the team.
