Shift Technician - Data Centre | Longcross

Location: Longcross

Shift Pattern: Continental Shift

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shift Technician to join a leading facilities management provider, working on a critical data centre site in the Longcross area.

The Role:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across critical infrastructure
  • Monitor and maintain electrical and mechanical systems
  • Respond to faults and breakdowns quickly and safely
  • Complete PPMs, inspections and site rounds
  • Work in line with SOPs, EOPs, RAMS and health & safety procedures
  • Support a 24/7 critical environment and ensure maximum uptime

  • Previous experience within a data centre, critical environment or similar
  • Strong electrical or mechanical engineering background
  • Knowledge of UPS, generators, BMS, HVAC and LV systems advantageous
  • Relevant engineering qualifications
  • Ability to work shifts within a critical environment
