Marcenta is opening a mini bulk desk covering 1,000–3,000 DWT tonnage and is looking for a Ship Broker to build it from the ground up. You'll fix and manage mini bulk vessels across short-sea and regional trades, working directly with owners, operators, and cargo interests in a segment that rewards fast, hands-on brokers.

What You Get

  • A desk to build, not join fully formed — real ownership from day one
  • Direct access to owners and operators in a segment most London desks ignore
  • Competitive, performance-based commission structure
  • Source and fix cargo and tonnage in the 1,000–3,000 DWT mini bulk segment
  • Build and maintain a network of owners, operators, and charterers active in short-sea trades
  • Negotiate freight rates, laycans, and charter party terms
  • Track regional demand, bunker costs, and port conditions relevant to mini bulk routes
  • Work closely with operations to ensure a clean handover post-fixture

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
