We're currently looking for a Shipping/Logistic Coordinator for our client based in Ashford. This is an amazing opportunity to work for a well-known, global employer.

Role Responsibilities

  • Coordinate shipping of products, including method of transport, pick-up times, and carriers
  • Oversees the preparation of export shipping documents in SAP
  • Communicate all customer-specific requirements to distribution/shipping personnel to ensure that shipments are processed on time and as per customer expectations.
  • Liaise with Quality Control to validate conformity of materials to be shipped.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of written export transportation procedures and filing maintenance.
  • Conduct systematic controls to ensure adherence to local and international transport and customs regulations
  • Execute other tasks as required and assigned by supervisor

Ideal Candidate

  • 2-3 years experience in logistics
  • Good knowledge of transportation supplier landscape.
  • Good knowledge of local and international material/product safety/security norms and regulations.
  • Knowledge of supply chain dependencies and processes.
  • Basic knowledge of production process.
  • Good computer skills.

  • Monday to Friday
  • Immediate start
  • Onsite parking
  • Monthly pay
  • 25 days + 8 Bank holidays
