Job Description
Goal of Position
To provide efficient and comprehensive shipping administration for equipment shipped from the UK & CZ and to act as an advisor to the different departments around the organisation regarding deliveries/imports.
Tasks
- Managing and coordinating export and import shipping activities.
- Ensure deliveries are made in line with customer and company requirements.
- Invoice generation and administration in UK ERP system.
- Act as contact for customer and internal queries relating to shipping or status enquiries.
- Completing required shipping certificates/documentation and detailed shipment records.
- Controlling all imports into the UK by providing customs clearance instructions to the necessary clearance agent within a small-time frame to minimise storage costs/delivery delays.
- Arranging the despatch, paperwork, and collection of Demo, loans, and exhibitions.
- In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks that are essentially related to their role.

Essential Position Requirements:

- Proven international experience in logistics. Working knowledge of import/export customs procedures.
- Ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Comfortable challenging issues and driving resolutions without supervision.
- IT Literate - Good ability in using Microsoft Office.
