Shipping Manager – REEBOK EUROPE
We are looking for an experienced Shipping Manager / Import Manager / International Shipping Manager to join Reebok Europe and manage its day-to-day international shipping operation.
This is a hands-on management role for someone with strong international shipping and import experience, who understands FCL, LCL and Air Freight and can manage shipments from supplier readiness and booking through customs clearance, ASN, delivery and GRN.
You will manage the Shipping team while working closely with international suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses and 3PL partners across the UK and Europe.
The Role
You will take day-to-day ownership of the shipping operation, ensuring shipments are properly controlled, problems are resolved quickly and risks are identified before they impact the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage international FCL, LCL and Air Freight shipments
- Manage the Shipping team, workloads, priorities and deadlines
- Control bookings, ETD/ETA, shipping documentation, ASN, customs clearance, deliveries and GRNs
- Monitor outstanding actions, overdue shipments and upcoming risks
- Resolve shipment delays, documentation issues, customs problems, shortages, damages and delivery discrepancies
- Ensure shipping documents and ASN information reconcile correctly against POs, invoices, packing lists and ERP data
- Support customs requirements including HS codes, country of origin and Incoterms
- Work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and warehouses/3PLs
- Monitor and challenge logistics service providers on service, cost and delivery performance
- Review freight quotations, additional charges, premium freight and freight invoice discrepancies
- Manage urgent and customer-critical shipments
- Monitor shipping KPIs and identify recurring operational issues
- Implement practical improvements to shipping processes, systems and reporting
- Coach and develop Shipping team members

What We Are Looking For
- Strong experience in international shipping and import operations
- Good working knowledge of FCL, LCL and Air Freight
- Strong understanding of commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading and Air Waybills
- Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers and 3PL/warehouse partners
- Good understanding of customs processes, HS codes, country of origin and Incoterms
- Experience managing multiple international shipments simultaneously
- Experience using ERP systems and shipment tracking/reporting tools
- Strong shipment reconciliation and operational data skills
- Previous experience supervising, coaching or managing a team
- Ability to independently resolve day-to-day shipping and import issues
- Experience preparing operational updates and KPI reporting
- Strong Excel capability is required for shipment reconciliation, freight analysis, exception management and reporting. Power Query or similar BI/reporting experience would be beneficial but is not essential.

Location: Watford
Salary: Excellent salary depending on experience
