SHIPPING MANAGER | INTERNATIONAL FASHION & LIFESTYLE BUSINESS

Are you an experienced Shipping Manager who knows international freight inside out and enjoys being close to the detail?

We’re recruiting for a growing international fashion and lifestyle business looking for someone to take ownership of its day-to-day shipping operation and team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing FCL, LCL and Air Freight shipments
  • Leading and developing the Shipping team
  • Controlling bookings, ETDs/ETAs, customs clearance, ASN, deliveries and GRNs
  • Managing freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers and 3PL partners
  • Resolving delays, customs issues, shortages, damages and documentation discrepancies
  • Reviewing freight costs, quotations and additional charges
  • Monitoring shipping KPIs and identifying recurring issues
  • Improving shipping processes, controls and reporting
  • Working closely with Operations, Finance, Customer Service and other internal teams

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong international shipping / import experience
  • Excellent knowledge of FCL, LCL and Air Freight
  • Solid understanding of customs, HS codes, Incoterms and country of origin
  • Experience dealing with freight forwarders, customs brokers and 3PLs
  • Previous team management or supervisory experience
  • ERP experience
  • Strong practical Excel and data skills
