Location: HMP Millsike, Moor Lane, Full Sutton, York, YO41 1FZ.
Pay rate: £14.25 per hour (£29,741.46)
Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Shift times: 08:00 – 16:30

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and operate tills confidently
  • Keep shelves stocked and displays looking great
  • Handle deliveries, stock checks, and maintain accurate records
  • Support with picking and packing orders
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shop environment
  • Occasionally escort customers (prisoners) to and from the shop
  • Assist with admin tasks like answering calls and emails.

What we’re looking for:

  • You’ve lived in the UK for the past 5 years and have the legal right to work
  • Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is a bonus – but not essential!
  • Comfortable working as part of a team and sometimes on your own.
