Location & Contract

  • Location: Campsfield IRC, Kidlington, OX5 1GN
  • Annual Salary: £27,716.00
  • Working Pattern: Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week (5 days out of 7, including some weekends)
  • Shift Times: Latest finish 20:00

Job Sector Requirements

Due to sector obligations, you must:

  • Have resided in the UK for the past 5 years
  • Have a legal right to work in the UK
  • Be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks

About the Role

Aramark UK are recruiting a Shop Assistant to join their team at Campsfield IRC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Operate tills
  • Check and restock goods
  • Arrange and display merchandise
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Ensure a clean, tidy workspace

Daily Responsibilities

  • Assist in shop operations, including:
    • Receiving and placing deliveries
    • Restocking & arranging displays
    • Escorting prisoners
    • Picking & packing orders
  • Complete in-house system work
  • Handle phone calls & emails
  • Perform stock taking, ordering and report deficient goods
  • Support health & safety compliance
  • Train to become key trained & radio trained
  • Support manager in their absence

Requirements

Essential:

  • Resided in the UK for the past 5 years
  • Legal right to work
  • Eligible for DBS & security vetting
  • Meet prerequisites for UK imprisonment environment work
