We’re Hiring: Working Foreman/ Supervisor
Hillington, Glasgow
Permanent | Full-Time | Overtime Available
SMS Group is growing — and we’re looking for an experienced Working Foreman / Supervisor to join our Glasgow team.
If you’re a time-served Fabricator/Welder with supervisory experience this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a hands-on leadership role within a busy marine fabrication environment.
🔎 The Role
- Hands-on fabrication work
- Supervising and leading a skilled workshop team
- Supporting shipbuilding and marine engineering projects

You’ll play a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while driving productivity and safety on site.
✔️ What We’re Looking For
- Time-served Fabricator/Welder (SVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Strong fabrication/welding & site experience
- Proven leadership or supervisory capability
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Marine or shipbuilding experience (desirable)
- Full Driving License
