We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Shop Maintenance Planning Team at Greggs and really help to shape an exciting and dynamic team.

About the role
This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) however flexibility in this will be considered
We know that having a work-life balance is important, so we offer our colleagues as much flexibility as possible in line with the needs of their role
The base location for this role is Innovate House, Balliol Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE12 8EW
What you'll do
As a Shop Maintenance Team Leader, you'll:
- Lead and support a team of Planners to deliver excellent service to our shops and customers
- Monitor team performance through regular 1:1s, coaching, quality assurance checks and development plans
- Manage attendance, absence, wellbeing and conduct in line with company policies and procedures
- Ensure reactive and planned maintenance work is planned, logged and progressed in line with agreed service levels
- Support the escalation and resolution of reactive maintenance issues, ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with Engineers, contractors, retail teams and internal customers
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, service delivery and team performance
- Review workloads and resource allocation to ensure operational demands are met
- Support training, onboarding and continuous development across the team

About you
You'll fit right into this role if you can demonstrate:
- Previous experience leading, coaching or developing a team
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence managing performance, attendance and wellbeing conversations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to make decisions, solve problems and drive improvements
- A results-focused approach with high attention to detail
- The ability to build positive working relationships at all levels
- A willingness to learn, develop and help others succeed
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, with experience of working on CAFM systems specifically being advantageous
