STADA UK Thornton & Ross – Shopfloor Process Leader

Huddersfield | U.K. | Full-time | Permanent

Lead the heartbeat of pharma manufacturing on the shopfloor. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll act in line with GMP and Quality regulations, making sure internal and external audit observations are closed on time and in full. You’ll champion full compliance with all STADA requirements in data privacy, quality, integrity and compliance policies, and you’ll be a visible role model for STADA’s values—fostering a high-performance, growth-focused culture on the shopfloor.

As a true change agent, you’ll empower the wider teams, build accountability, and drive continuous & process improvement across filling and manufacturing departments, with a strong emphasis on efficiency/cost-saving initiatives, all while maintaining full adherence to global and local Health, Safety & Environmental requirements. If you thrive in a GMP environment and want your leadership to directly impact patients and product supply, this is the role for you.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Lead the quality agenda on the shopfloor, improving business quality outcomes (BRFT, rejections, referrals, NONCs) and managing all Process Unit compliance documentation.
  • Drive process improvements across manufacturing and filling, using robust project plans and partnering with support functions to secure resources and meet KPIs.
  • Embed Continuous Improvement tools (OpEx, Lean, 6S, Minitab) into everyday work, using visual plant concepts and KPI trending to deliver measurable gains in quality and efficiency.
  • Champion new concepts, information, and pharmaceutical technologies to continuously upgrade production practices and operating standards.
  • Build capability across the team through targeted training on quality documentation, Good Documentation Practice, and on-time CAPA rollout and procedure updates.
  • Safeguard compliance with STADA quality standards and local health authority (EMEA/HSE/GMP) requirements, while optimising people, productivity, and costs to achieve departmental goals efficiently.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
