Overview
Glen Raven is seeking an experienced Shopify Developer to join our team and take ownership of the technical development, customization, and ongoing optimization of our Shopify storefronts. This role requires a seasoned developer who is comfortable working across theme development, custom app builds, and enterprise-level Shopify Plus and B2B implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, customize, and maintain Shopify themes tailored to business and brand requirements
- Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps to extend store functionality
- Write clean, efficient Liquid templates and components
- Integrate and consume REST APIs for custom functionality and third-party integrations
- Build responsive, performant front-end experiences using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Manage code through GitHub, including version control, branching, pull requests, and code review
- Support and optimize Shopify Plus features including B2B functionality, and enterprise-level configurations
- Troubleshoot bugs, performance issues, and compatibility problems across themes and apps
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver projects on time
- Stay current with Shopify platform updates, new features, and best practices

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of solid, hands-on Shopify development experience
- Strong experience with Shopify Plus and B2B implementations
- Proven theme development experience (custom themes and theme customization)
- Experience building custom Shopify apps
- Proficiency with Liquid
- Strong command of HTML, JavaScript, and general front-end development
- Experience working with the REST APIs
- Practical experience using GitHub for version control and collaborative development
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/priorities

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Shopify's GraphQL Admin API
- Familiarity with Shopify CLI and app scaffolding tools
- Background in UX/performance optimization for e-commerce storefronts
