About the role
We're looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to join our team and help deliver high-quality builds across everything we do.
You'll work across a range of work — from full theme builds and large-scale redesigns to section-level development, landing pages, and CRO test implementations. You'll translate high-fidelity Figma designs into accurate, production-ready Shopify code, working closely with designers, CRO specialists, and account managers with a focus on performance, scalability, and attention to detail.

What you'll be doing
Shopify development
- Build across a variety of work: full Shopify theme builds, section development, landing pages, and CRO test implementations
- Translate high-fidelity Figma designs into accurate, production-ready Shopify themes and sections
- Build with CRO, performance, and scalability in mind
- Ensure development aligns closely with design intent and UX decisions

Modern Shopify practices
- Work primarily within Shopify 2.0 and the Horizon framework
- Apply best practices for modern Shopify development
- Adapt quickly as Shopify's ecosystem and tooling evolves
CRO-aware execution
- Understand the intent behind CRO-led designs
- Build components and sections that support experimentation and iteration
- Collaborate with CRO specialists to ensure implementations support testing and optimisation
- Avoid rigid or fragile implementations that block future growth
Technical expectations
- Shopify Liquid and Shopify 2.0 architecture
- Modern Shopify theme development practices
- Horizon framework concepts and implementation
- GitHub and version control workflows
- Non-destructive development practices
- Clean, maintainable, and scalable code
Attention to detail (non-negotiable)
- Designs are created in Figma and must be implemented faithfully
- Builds should feel like a one-to-one translation of the design intent
- Spacing, layout, interactions, and responsiveness all matter

AI-assisted development

We're particularly interested in developers who:
- Actively experiment with AI-assisted development workflows
- Use tools such as Cursor, Claude, or similar to speed up problem-solving
- Treat AI as an aid, not a replacement for good engineering
What we're looking for
You are:
- A mid-to-senior Shopify developer
- Comfortable working across different types of output — full builds, sections, CRO implementations
- A strong problem solver who can adapt when requirements evolve
- Detail-oriented and quality-driven
- Reliable, communicative, and deadline-focused
You have:
- Proven experience developing for Shopify
- Strong knowledge of the Shopify ecosystem
- Experience collaborating with designers and CRO teams
- Experience working to defined scopes and timelines
