Glass Atlas
Glass Atlas is the digital commerce agency of choice for transformation and growth, aiming to be the leading partner for world-class brands. We drive innovation and excellence across performance marketing, commerce engineering, and creative practices. Powered by a collaborative team of 170+ specialists across performance and commerce technology, our growth is built on strong expertise and a shared vision.
Culture is at the heart of everything we do, which is why we keep it simple with a single guiding value—our True North: We do the right thing. This core principle guides how we work, make decisions, and treat our customers, partners, and each other every single day. We believe that doing the right thing fosters transparency, excellence, and a supportive environment where everyone can thrive.
About the role
Glass Atlas are looking for an experienced full-stack Shopify Developer to join our Commerce Technology team. You will work across a range of ecommerce clients, designing, building, launching and continually improving high-quality Shopify and Shopify Plus solutions. This is broader than a storefront or theme-development role: you will work across customer-facing experiences, server-side services, APIs, integrations and data flows, helping to understand client requirements, recommend pragmatic technical approaches and take responsibility for the quality of what we deliver.
Key responsibilities
The Shopify Developer is responsible for delivering robust, maintainable and high-performing solutions across the full Shopify technology stack. The role combines hands-on frontend and backend development with technical discovery, estimation, API and integration design, data modelling, quality assurance and production support. You will collaborate with developers, technical leads, designers, delivery managers and clients to turn commercial and functional requirements into effective Shopify solutions.
Full-Stack Shopify Development
- Build and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus solutions across storefronts, custom applications, services and integrations.
- Develop bespoke themes and extend existing themes using Liquid, JSON templates, sections, blocks, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, while contributing to backend services where required.
- Translate designs and functional requirements into responsive, accessible and performant ecommerce experiences.
- Create flexible, reusable frontend components and backend services that are well structured, testable and maintainable.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
