Shopify theme engineer / Front end engineer
- 10+ years of work experience in software development
- Shopify Platform Experience a MUST.
- Experience in Shopify Hydrogen framework built with React that allows developers to create custom, high-performance storefronts for Shopify, effectively using a headless approach - Nice to have.
- Experience in Shopify Liquid - Must
- Experience in building end to end eCommerce technology solutions with Shopify and associated systems (OMS, IMS, WMS, credit card processing, tax engine, digital distribution etc.) Must
- Strong proficiency in modern design patterns and development languages including JavaScript, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, tailwind
- Experienced in NodeJS, JavaScript (ES2019+), ESLint and coding standards, Typescript
- Solid grounding with common design patterns and development best practices
- Knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and general data transfer approaches
- Able to define, design, implement complex, and scalable systems
- Ability to identify areas that can be streamlined or automated
- Good team player and communication skills
- Experience with agile development methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Experience with Jenkins Setup CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous delivery)
- Experience with automated testing frameworks, such as Playwright
