Job Title: Shopper Marketing and E-commerce Executive
Reporting to: Shopper Marketing and E-commerce Controller
Department: Mainstream UK
Location: Homebased, plus meetings in Rainham, Essex (Classic Site) and various off-site meetings with the wider Mainstream team (1 per month in Huntingdon), customers, and agencies.
Work Pattern:
- Home-based with the requirement to travel to/from:
- Office (Rainham, Essex) once per week
- Team meetings
- Retailer meetings
- Agency/3rd party meeting
A valid Driving Licence is required for this role.
Overall purpose of job:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Shopper Marketing and E-commerce Executive for the UK & ROI markets, to join the Mainstream Commercial Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of the Shopper Marketing strategy for both bricks & mortar and retailer online across the Multiples, Convenience, Discounter, ROI, and Online channels (omni-channel). There will also be the opportunity to lead the development of in-store and online campaigns with retailers. The role will encompass:
- Support further the development of Shopper and E-commerce focus within the business.
- Increased engagement with the trade.
- Support to develop market-leading Shopper campaigns.
- Develop insights via research, campaign analysis, industry reports & network and turn these into actions/campaigns that will deliver learnings and/or return on investment.
This role involves working in a fast-paced ever-changing environment, requires a proactive & creative approach, and deliver against specific timescales.

Key areas of responsibility:
- Support with the development and implementation of Shopper Marketing to include retailer.com initiatives/tactics across the Multiple, Discounter, Convenience, ROI & Online channels:
- To align with the Category vision, Brand strategy, and individual retailer/channel objectives.
- To be market-leading with the aim of driving shopper acquisition, retention of shoppers, and turn them into brand loyalists.
- To be delivered through a shopper lens, creative & out-of-the-box thinking to clearly differentiate Tilda from competitors and for Tilda to be seen as a shopper thought-leader.
- Understand the Shopper including.com path to purchase with the aim to maximize influencing and converting shoppers at key/most relevant touchpoints.
- Support with the development of best-in-class Online & Mobile optimisation (brilliant basics):
- Responsible for understanding platform guidelines at retailer/channel level.
- Responsible for implementation (Brandbank/self-serve) and maintenance tracking dashboards.
- Analyse all Shopper and.com campaigns with the aim of gathering insights and learnings for future campaign planning.
- Share campaigns, learnings, and performance at retailer level with relevant Account Manager to leverage with customers.
- Build strong relationships with retailer media contacts.
- Leverage opportunities to be the brand of choice during key calendar events, retailer initiatives, and cross-category collaborations.
- Proactively identify and implement cross-category collaborations.
- In this cross-functional role, it will be essential to build strong and collaborative relationships across the wider business with focus on cross-sector.
- Work closely with Tilda’s chosen agencies/3rd party suppliers to support the development of shopper-focused campaigns, creative & message, and hold them accountable for success.
- Including campaign, creative, and content development > briefs, ideation, liaise with the Marketing for input and final sign-off.
- Industry and competitor campaign/activation tracking.
- Build external network with the aim of bringing learnings and insights into the business.
- Take a lead on developing internal reports, for example, monthly Shopper Marketing and E-commerce activity reporting.
- Develop, manage, and implement an always-on media plan for a strategic Online retailer.

Qualifications/Experience required:
- Ideally 2 years’ experience within a similar role/E-commerce marketing.
- Hold a degree level or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in analysing data, drawing conclusions and insights.
- Liaising with and briefing Shopper Marketing campaigns to creative agencies.
- Excellent communication skills as this role requires engagement across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Be highly organised and driven.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to manage multiple tasks/projects as well as a diverse workload.
- Be proactive, action-oriented, and be able to use initiative.
