Shopper Marketing Manager | Berkshire | Hybrid
£55,000-£60,000 + package
Do you have shopper or customer marketing experience within FMCG? Have you developed and delivered activation plans for major UK retail customers? Can you turn shopper and customer insight into commercially effective activity?
This is an opportunity for an experienced FMCG marketer to take ownership of shopper-focused activity across major retail customers.
You'll work closely with brand, commercial and category teams, translating brand priorities, shopper insight and customer objectives into effective activation plans.
The role
You'll be responsible for developing and delivering shopper marketing activity across key retail customers, including:
- Customer-specific activation plans
- Retail campaigns and shopper programmes
- Supporting innovation launches and key commercial priorities
- Using shopper, customer and performance insight to shape activity
- Working closely with Sales, Brand and Category teams
- Managing agency partners and external suppliers
- Reviewing campaign effectiveness and identifying opportunities to improve future activity

What we're looking for
You'll need:
- Relevant FMCG experience within Shopper Marketing, Customer Marketing or a closely related activation-focused role
- Experience working with major UK retail customers
- A strong understanding of shopper behaviour and retail activation
- Experience developing retailer-specific activation plans
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Commercial awareness and confidence working across multiple functions
- The ability to manage several priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using shopper, customer or performance insight to improve activity

The opportunity
This is a visible role working across marketing and commercial teams, with the opportunity to influence how brands show up with customers and shoppers.
You'll have exposure to major retail customers and the chance to shape shopper activity from planning through to execution and evaluation.
£55,000-£60,000 plus package.
No sponsorship or relocation offered.
Desired Skills and Experience
FMCG shopper or customer marketing experience with exposure to major UK retail customers. Experience developing and delivering customer-specific activation plans, translating shopper and customer insight into activity, and working cross-functionally with Sales, Brand and Category teams. Strong stakeholder management, commercial awareness and experience evaluating activation effectiveness.
