The Shopper Marketing Manager will create strategic activation plans that inspire our customers and influence our consumers in Out of Home channels to accelerate our wellbeing visibility. They will create engaging brand experiences at point of consumption and will be able to confidently present category insights to win new business and drive relationships with our route to market customers.
The Shopper Marketing Manager will have experience as a trade or shopper marketing manager or with commercial experience in the Foodservice channel, who has the ability to create activation plans in key accounts, create engaging point of sale to inspire consumers in outlet and support the OOH sales team in winning new business. Energetic and enthusiastic, with a passion for customer understanding they thrive on building partnerships to make things happen.

- Create a 12-month activation plan for key wholesalers and end-user accounts aligned to our brand plans. Channels include Workplace catering, Hotels, Travel, Coffee Shops etc.
- Manage budgets and delivery timelines to ensure campaign goes live to align with brand marketing.
- Develop a strong relationship with route to market contacts (Brakes and Bidfood) and strategic end-user customers.
- Be confident in interpreting industry and category data to create and present compelling selling-stories to win new business.
- Identify the mutual opportunities between our customers and our brand strategy that enable us to accelerate our wellbeing visibility – create strategic plans that deliver against our brand and customer growth strategies.
- Drive brand awareness and deliver superior brand experience at point of purchase including tea menus, perfect serve solutions and merchandising.
- Deliver trade activations that support Twinings growth agenda in wellbeing drinks, including trade shows, customer events and brand engagement days.
- Develop and maintain high quality brand asset library including digital assets and materials such as channel brochures, trade show kit etc.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience as an activation, trade or shopper marketing manager, or with commercial experience in Foodservice channels.
- Experience of managing budgets and raising PO’s.
- A can-do person with strong project management and planning skills.
- Experience of presenting plans at a high-level to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Agency management experience to convey clear creative activation requirements.
- High performance mindset, resourceful and determined to find ways to overcome challenges.
- They will be able to lead and deliver work cross functionally with high collaboration.
