About the Role

We’re a company that genuinely cares about our people, our products, our consumers and the environment. Our unique, informal culture champions courage, determination and collaboration. We have a shared passion to work hard, innovate and push boundaries. United by the belief that when we strive for growth, anything is possible.

Are you passionate about understanding shoppers and turning insight into action? Do you thrive in a commercial environment where data, creativity and execution come together to drive business growth? We are looking for an experienced Shopper Marketing Manager to lead the development and delivery of our UK Shopper Marketing strategy across a portfolio of leading brands and retail customers.

This is a pivotal role within the business, responsible for transforming brand and commercial strategies into compelling shopper experiences that increase conversion, strengthen customer partnerships and deliver profitable growth. You'll have ownership of a significant shopper marketing investment, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Category, eCommerce and external partners to ensure every pound spent delivers measurable commercial value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the UK Shopper Marketing strategy, turning brand and commercial objectives into impactful shopper activation plans.
  • Manage a significant shopper marketing budget, ensuring investment is targeted, measurable and delivers strong commercial returns.
  • Lead customer-specific activation programmes across retail and eCommerce channels, including promotions, launches, seasonal campaigns and in-store activity.
  • Use shopper, category and customer data to identify opportunities, evaluate performance and optimise ROI.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Category Management and external agencies to create best-in-class shopper experiences.
  • Drive excellent execution across all customer touchpoints, ensuring activity is delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
  • Act as the UK shopper marketing expert, influencing business decisions through insight, data and a deep understanding of shopper behaviour.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
