Job Description

We are looking for a Shopper Marketing Specialist W/M to:

  • Establish and lead excellence in Shopper marketing to maximize demand for Salomon with Omnichannel trade partners.
  • Deliver own Retail activation.

You will work in close collaboration with our Country Marketing Manager, EMEA Winning Account Marketing, Marketing peers, Local sales, and Global experts departments.

You will report directly to the Country Marketing Manager.

Main Activities:

  • Marketing point of contact for local Key Account, Premium Partners and HQ Retail
  • Deliver customers presentation at key seasonal meetings, clearly conveying the seasonal programs for activation
  • Understand the shopper journey and the key influencing points to improve the conversion funnel to purchase
  • Cooperate with Sales team to develop local customers plans, including co-op campaigns
  • Own local Customers Joint Marketing Plans, define and agree seasonal plans and related Shopping Experience Framework implementation & tracking
  • Prepare Account 360 activation seasonal plans with a focus on-line presence
  • Oversee and execute local on-offline shopper marketing programs and 360 campaigns
  • Execute D2C, Key Account, Premium Partners Customer Marketing Plan according to dedicated toolbox
  • Responsible for delivering all product and brand related assets to retail partners
  • Track Pay for Performance elements for consumer experience in Trade Terms
  • Manage external service suppliers/agencies for branded spaces and Campaigns
  • Cooperate with e-tail team and get support on digital activation of local click and brick accounts
  • Implement/coordinate own Retail Marketing actions (BS/ FO/ pop-up openings, window programs, promo actions etc.)
  • Support other trade relevant events such as Trade Shows, Buying Days and Showrooms
  • Produce meaningful reports with clear recommendations (including links to Account and Campaigns KPIs, digital ROI, Joint Marketing Plans and Shopping Experience Framework) and report progress of KPI achievement to Country Marketing Manager & EMEA Teams
  • Cooperate with Salomon HQ/ EMEA Teams and provide feedback on toolboxes
  • Share via the EMEA shopper community best practice examples

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years in a Shopper Marketing, Trade Marketing, Customer Marketing, Retail Marketing or Marketing Executive/Marketing Manager role in leading branded consumer goods in FMCG or leading Sporting Goods.
  • Experience working directly with wholesale customers, retailer marketing teams and customer accounts, including building and maintaining marketing relationships.
  • Experience supporting wholesale sell-in processes, pre-line meetings, seasonal marketing planning and in-season campaign execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple customer accounts, stakeholders, projects, budgets and deadlines simultaneously, often across multiple seasons.
  • Experience delivering customer activations, events, incentives and integrated marketing campaigns is desirable.
  • Education: Relevant education in university and/or business school course work, Bachelor or Master degree in Business with focus on marketing preferred.
  • Driving License.
  • Specific Skills:
    • Understanding of wholesale, own retail, Ecom
    • Understanding of consumer/shopper behavior
    • Manage complex projects and processes with multiple stakeholders
    • Budget planning and tracking, vendor management
    • Experience of being customer facing and delivering customers plans
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Understanding of brand, marketing & shopper concepts
    • Understanding and analyzing of trade marketing KPIs
  • Foreign Language(s): Fluent in English
  • IT Skills: command of Microsoft Office, graphic/ design programs are a plus
  • Other Specific Transversal Skills: planning & Organizing, delivering Results & meeting Customer expectations, communication and presentation skills, relating & networking, persuading & influencing, entrepreneurial & commercial thinking.

Additional Information

  • Contract: Full-time, Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
  • Start Date: November 2026
  • Location: Our main UK office is based in Camberley; however, we welcome applications from candidates located near our London (Shoreditch) or Manchester locations, with travel to the Camberley office expected approximately once per month.
  • Hybrid Working: A minimum of two days per week spent either in one of our UK offices/showrooms and/or with customers.
  • Travel: Regular travel to customer locations across the UK is required, along with occasional evening and weekend work to support activations, events and customer engagements.
