Opportunity for a Shopping Centre Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Shopping Centre Manager to join a well-established company managing shopping centres, specialising in retail asset management, leasing, and operations.

About the Role

As a Shopping Centre Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a shopping centre, ensuring high standards across facilities, compliance, customer experience, and retailer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the shopping centre and ensuring smooth running of all site activities.
  • Leading and supporting on-site teams across operations, security, cleaning, and maintenance functions.
  • Developing strong relationships with retailers, tenants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
  • Managing service charge budgets and monitoring operational costs.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements, statutory regulations, and risk management procedures.
  • Overseeing facilities management contracts and monitoring contractor performance.
  • Maintaining high standards across centre presentation, cleanliness, and customer experience.
  • Supporting operational delivery of marketing activities, events, and community initiatives.
  • Working with senior stakeholders to support the commercial success of the centre.

Requirements

  • Previously worked as a Shopping Centre Manager, Retail Centre Manager, Centre Manager, Shopping Mall Manager, Operations Manager, Retail Operations Manager, Centre Operations Manager, Retail Property Manager, Deputy Centre Manager, Senior Operations Manager or in a similar role.
  • Prior experience managing a shopping centre, retail destination, or large commercial property environment.
  • Experience leading operational teams and managing facilities-related activities.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety, compliance, and risk management requirements.
  • Background managing service charge budgets and external contractor relationships.
  • Strong understanding of shopping centre operations and stakeholder management.
  • A proactive approach with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
