Remote, UK | Freelance / part-time | £40 per published video + performance bonuses
SaunaDiscovery.com & the Ember app is for discovering saunas around the world.
We're building a small team of short-form creators to help us experiment with TikTok and Instagram Reels. This isn't a traditional social media marketing job, and we're not looking for someone to manage a content calendar or make polished corporate videos.
We're looking for people who genuinely understand short-form content.
You might already make TikToks or Reels about travel, fitness, university life, food, wellness, fashion, your city, completely random observations, or anything else.
You do not need a large following or previous professional creator experience.
What you'll do
You'll create short-form videos around things like:
- Interesting and unusual saunas
- Travel and places worth visiting
- Sauna and cold plunge culture
- Finding places through SaunaDiscovery
- Rankings, opinions and recommendations
- Trends, reactions and memes
- Your own ideas that we haven't thought of

Most videos will be roughly 10-40 seconds and created using your phone.
You'll normally publish the finished content through your own TikTok or Instagram account.
We want creators to bring us ideas rather than simply follow scripts.
What we're looking for
You probably:
- Spend more time on TikTok or Reels than you'd admit
- Understand what makes you stop scrolling
- Can shoot and edit short-form video on your phone
- Are comfortable appearing on camera
- Have strong instincts for hooks and concepts
- Can reliably create around two videos each week
- Have a TikTok or Instagram account you're comfortable publishing from
You don't need:
- A marketing qualification
- A huge social following
- Professional camera equipment
- Previous brand or UGC experience
- Thousands of followers
Students, recent graduates and people doing this alongside another job or course are welcome.
Pay
Everyone selected starts with a paid creative test:
- £80 for two short-form videos.

You won't need to publish the test videos.
Creators we continue working with will initially receive:
- £40 per published video
We expect to commission around eight videos per creator each month, equivalent to approximately £320/month guaranteed, plus performance bonuses.
Performance bonuses
Per video, based on legitimate organic views within 30 days:
- 25,000 views: +£25
- 100,000 views: +£75
- 500,000 views: +£200
- 1,000,000 views: +£400
Only the highest milestone reached is paid.
Creators who consistently make strong content may receive more work and larger retainers.
What matters to us
We're much more interested in your taste, ideas and understanding of short-form video than your CV.
If you've never worked with a brand before but make great TikToks, that's completely fine.
To apply, we'll ask you to share your social profiles, a few examples of things you've made and five rough ideas for SaunaDiscovery videos.
