Location: Dalston, London (E8)

Employment Type: Part-time (flexi)

Reports to: Showroom Manager

LN-CC are looking for a fashion-forward and customer-focused Showroom Assistant to support the daily operations of our retail environment. This is a hands-on role combining operational excellence, elevated customer experience and community engagement.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organised and passionate about fashion and culture, with a strong sense of personal style and a natural ability to build relationships. This role plays a key part in shaping the showroom experience and strengthening connections with our clients and local creative community.

JOB SPECIFICATION

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Showroom Operations:

  • Support the day-to-day running of the showroom, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Manage online orders, customer requests and in-store client interactions.
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and stock presentation across all areas.
  • Oversee stock handling, inventory checks and replenishment processes.
  • Ensure the showroom and back-of-house areas remain clean, organised and inviting.
  • Accurately process transactions using POS systems, both in-store and remotely.

Client Experience & Clientelling:

  • Deliver an elevated and personalised shopping experience for every client.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through follow-ups, styling advice and attentive service.
  • Track client preferences, purchases and wish lists to enhance future interactions.
  • Engage clients with updates on new arrivals, exclusives and upcoming showroom events.

Product & Brand Knowledge:

  • Develop strong knowledge of the brand mix and seasonal collections.
  • Stay up to date on fashion trends and cultural movements relevant to LN-CC’s audience.
  • Provide thoughtful styling support across categories and product types.
  • Contribute to achieving and exceeding sales targets through storytelling and client engagement.

Team Collaboration & Initiative:

  • Work collaboratively with the showroom team to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve service, layout and customer flow.
  • Contribute ideas and support the implementation of new initiatives and activations.

Community & Footfall Growth:

  • Support outreach activities aimed at increasing showroom awareness and traffic.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of local events, activations and partnerships.
  • Build relationships with local creatives and communities to reinforce LN-CC’s cultural positioning.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience as a showroom assistant, sales associate or personal shopper, ideally with an existing client base.
  • Background in fashion, retail or showroom environments preferred.
  • Strong interest in fashion, styling and visual culture.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Confidence using POS systems and digital tools (training provided).
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and showroom events.
