Little Greene is a family-run British paint and wallpaper manufacturer, drawing on 300 years of decorative history. The company references key periods of interior design from the 17th to the late 20th century. Role Description
The Showroom Assistant role is a part-time, on-site position based in Wilmslow, for 2 days per week, including some weekend work.
The Showroom Assistant will welcome and support customers in the showroom, providing guidance on paint colours, finishes, and wallpaper selections that suit their interiors.

Day-to-day tasks include:
- Answering product questions
- Demonstrating samples
- Maintaining an inviting showroom environment
- Ensuring displays are well-presented and stocked
- Processing sales transactions
- Handling customer inquiries in person and by phone
- Working closely with the team to deliver a high standard of customer experience
- Helping promote Little Greene’s products and brand values through professional and attentive service

Qualifications / experience / skills
- Strong Customer Service skills to create a positive, welcoming experience for all visitors.
- Clear and confident Communication abilities, including listening, explaining product features, and offering guidance.
- Experience or familiarity with Showrooms, including maintaining displays, managing samples, and supporting product presentation.
- Proven Sales and Retail Sales skills, including advising customers, processing transactions, and meeting sales objectives.
- Interest in interior design, colours, and finishes, with a willingness to learn about Little Greene’s product range and heritage.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, handle physical tasks such as moving paint tins, and maintain showroom tidiness.
- Reliable time management, punctuality, and the ability to work agreed part-time shifts, including weekends.
- Previous retail or showroom experience is beneficial; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
