Who Are We Looking For?
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Showroom Care Co-ordinator to join our DIY Retailer Showroom Care Team to join our friendly team on a permanent basis, based at our Head Office in Tytherington, Macclesfield. The role is suitable for hybrid working which is a blend of 3 days working from the office and 2 days working from home.
This is a varied, agile co-ordination role where you’ll help keep showroom care activity on track.
Skills for the role include:
- Inspiring - being approachable and confident is key to this role
- Trustworthy - a team player with a positive approach
- Methodical - excellent attention to detail and strong organisation skills
- Technical ability - a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent Communication - you must be able to communicate with confidence and have excellent customer service skills
What Does Your New Role Look Like?
You’ll liaise with stores, field teams, merchandisers and internal colleagues, making sure requirements are captured, information is accurate and work is progressed within agreed timescales.
To succeed in this role, you will consistently support excellent service delivery, communicate clearly, meet deadlines and help identify operational efficiencies.

Success will be demonstrated through client requirements being met, risks and issues being communicated efficiently, financial targets and account KPIs being achieved, project deadlines being met, and operational efficiencies being identified and implemented.
You will do this by:
- Co-ordinating Hotels & Travel: Arrange and manage hotel bookings and travel requirements for the team, ensuring arrangements are organised efficiently and in line with business needs.
- Store Support: Act as a main point of contact for DIY Retailer store staff, monitoring, managing and responding to enquiries in a timely and professional way.
- Ordering Parts & Equipment: Co-ordinate parts and equipment requirements from DIY Retail Stores and Merchandisers, consolidating requests and placing orders to meet stock and operational needs.
- Scheduling Support: Provide administrative support for job scheduling, help co-ordinate and allocate work when required and identifying opportunities for improved efficiencies.
- Voucher Validation: Support the validation process for store visit vouchers, ensuring records are accurate and processed correctly.
- Teamwork: Build effective relationships with internal colleagues and stakeholders through clear communication and a positive approach.
- Continuous Improvement: Support compliance around co-ordination costs, contribute ideas for scheduling efficiencies and help drive improved margins.
- Additional Duties: Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and within the correct timescales, undertaking any other reasonable tasks as directed by your line manager.
